At kantor Ingeborg Christophersen på Nesodden driver konsertserien Kantorissimo, forteller mye om hennes allsidige interesser og virke: fra blokkfløytesolist med symfoniorkestre og continuo – orgel og cembalo – med ensembler som Det Norske Kammerorkester, via en Heddapris-nominasjon for rollen i «Salong» på Nationaltheatret til solist på Barokkanerne-innspillinger. Hun har studert ved Syddansk Musikkonservatorium, Conservatorium van Amsterdam og NLA, skrev masteravhandlinger om ornamentikk i fransk cembalomusikk og i J.S. Bachs klavermusikk, og om improvisasjonstradisjonen for melodiinstrumenter i 1500-tallets Venezia. Hun tar nå en mastergrad i kirkemusikk ved Norges musikkhøgskole.
Devoted versatility seems to characterize the precentor of the Nesodden church, who in addition to playing the recorder as a soloist with orchestras in Norway and abroad, was highly appreciated for playing a stage role in a Norwegian national theatre production, and continuing her studies, she runs the concert series Kantorissimo. She plays the recorder on Barokkanerne albums, has played at international festivals, and is now studying for a master-degree at the Norwegian academy. She already has master-degrees in recorder and harpsichord playing, in addition to being a qualified precentor, and has earlier studied in Denmark and in the Netherlands where she completed the 4-year programme Contemporary Music through Non-Western Techniques, focusing on south Indian classic, complex rhythm systems.
