Adrien La Marca
Bratsj/viola
Hans første innspilling, «English Delight», fikk flere priser da den kom to år senere.
Le Monde hailed him as a new viola hero; his playing is characterised “by a depth of expression, technical mastery and a sound with rich, deep, burnished quality.” A charismatic stage presence enables him to create an immediate emotional connection with his audience. Born in 1989 in Aix-en-Provence, he began playing piano and viola at the age of four, studied first in Paris, later in Leipzig and further in Berlin with Tabea Zimmermann. He plays with leading orchestras and conductors, has won several prizes for his albums and has concerts written for him. During his studies, Adrien was regularly invited to take part in different musical academies and had the opportunity to work with inspiring musicians including Seiji Ozawa, Valery Gergiev, Gidon Kremer, Andras Schiff and Menahem Pressler.
